the girls' lounge

I TOOK A YEAR OFF FROM SCHOOL TO WORK AT THE GIRLS' LOUNGE/THE FEMALE QUOTIENT. WE WENT AROUND THE WORLD SHOWCASING AT ADVERTISING AND MARKETING CONFERENCES WITH ONE MISSION: TO CREATE CONVERSATIONS THAT WOULD ENACT CHANGE FOR WOMEN IN THE WORKPLACE.

My responsibilities ranged from photographer to videographer, social media manager to creative media manager, project manager to studio artist. I customized t-shirt designs on-site  while also managing our video crew. I created the content and photography that was published on our social media pages, and also designing our decks for prospective partnerships. When signage delivery was delayed, I painted our logos and tagline on the walls as a solution. Working at The Girls' Lounge/The Female Quotient gave me valuable insight on what it means to work at a young startup and how to successfully multitask between all of the responsibilties.
